In order to keep the humidity low in the basements, we must try different ways to provide dry air.
This approach will blow warmer, dry air from the Josto hallway (between Josto and toilets) to our basement.
This page describes a test case to see if warmer, dry air from the Josto floor can help us to decrease relative humidity in the basement.
* tube ventilator, diameter 12,5 cm
* 10m aluminum flexible tube, diameter 12,5 cm
* power cords
* wire straps
* ducktape (of course..)
So we get our air via the gaps between the stairway wall and the ceiling:
In the turn of the aluminum tube we have placed a 'tube ventilator'
This part is certainly not definitive, but we didn't want to cut the expensive tube (yet):
Here is where the air from above is blowing out. If this concept is working well, we have to think about where to place/fix the tube..
