Packettracer intro
 +
----
 +
*My first introduction with the software. And i must say, it's great. TomD made a small lan, consisting out of 2 routers, 2 switches and a host.
 +
*The functionality of packettracer, with it's additional features is enough to get anybody going. This is a great tool for anybody who want's to learn about the inner workings of a lan.(regarding Cisco products ofcourse)
 +
*The challenge here was to get packets flowing from one router to another. The packets would be introduced to the lan, by the host. By doing so, we also got to cover the initial configuring of a Cisco router.

First peek into IOS
 +
----
 +
*We got our first peek into IOS. This will need some studying, as the commands and levels in wich to implement the commands, are very different from what i'm used to.
 +
*Keeping in mind that Cisco has a very fragmented line of products (both in hard- and software), the config's will vary from product to product. Wich makes this workshop very usefull for anybody who has to support the products or is just interrested.
 +
*This time, we added the information nessecary to get the packets flowing from one router to another. Also the configuration of the links was in order.
 +
*Learning by doing is the right way to go.
