Active Directory

I am currently test-driving an Active Directory setup using SAMBA4, to make the management more centralized, and easier to hand over to the next one if the current maintainer can't do it (temporarily) anymore.

How to get on it?

Set your DNS to 10.98.254.144, and add the computer to the directory.void domain. Administrator credentials will be created by another member for you (if you haven't got them already), and you can use them to add a computer to the domain.

Adding a Windows/OS X computer is fairly straight-forward, instructions for adding an ubuntu computer can be found at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ActiveDirectoryHowto and on http://www.smilingsouls.net/blog/linux/ad_integration.html .
