* So as from now: if you buy a drink, scan it!  If for some reason you can't figure out how it works, ask Koert.

*Still to do: mounting of the touchscreen on a somewhat, "ergonomical" height. I plan to do this next wednesday. I'll be looking for materials this week(end). Some plywood and iron stuff will do the trick. (Tom).

MPD

The MPD / djmount / MPDplayer software have been set up in the same way as the setup in Whitespace. This setup is documented here.

Point of sales & Stock management

Using the Jostokassa application made by Koert
I'm writing a new one (with a gui because console + touchscreen is just silly) more suited to our specific needs -- Koert

Touchscreen

It might be convenient to use a touch screen at this location. Rob has provided a old LCD touchscreen we might use. To get it running on ubuntu (testet on 10.10) you need the following driver to be installed:

sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-elographics

After that you need to add the touchscreen to you're /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. This was done according to the configuration found here: http://0x20.be/Table_Computer. Restart X-server and you should have the touchscreen working. The values in the xorg.conf must be calibrated to you're specific configuration. At this time I haven't found any other option to do this then trail and error. Take a look at touchcal. I haven't tried it, but this should help you calibrate elo touch screens (Koert)
