updating the "current projects list" on the wiki
My approach --Ivom 00:00, 26 November 2011 (CET)
- Move the really old stuff to a sub list of mark them with a special character
- Post about the special list or the character to the mailinglist
- Have a 2 week DIY-culling period for the original poster to effectively cull the project or breath new life into it.
- After 2 week 'archive' the pages somehow or delete them.
TomDs approach seems already supported by the wiki and takes less effort to organise. Go for it!--Ivom 11:08, 26 November 2011 (CET)

Each project page has an "is current" checkbox. Unchecking that option, automatically moves the page to the Old Projects list. Deleting project pages would be like deleting valuable content (not my favourite solution) How to decide? A run through the list could be done in a meeting in about 10 minutes. Like, someone still working on this project? And than using the applause/murmer metre to quickly decide. If there is an unfortunate mistake, that can easily be rectified in about 5 seconds.
